Sometimes, a conversation leaves you not just inspired but completely rethinking how you approach life and business. That’s exactly what happened during my interview with the incredible Kim Julen. Kim is an energy flow expert whose unique blend of feng shui, intuitive skills, and spiritual insights is transforming lives and businesses. Our chat touched on everything from the power of intuition to creating spaces that energetically support our goals. Here’s what I learned and how I’m already applying her wisdom.
Trusting the Flow
Kim’s story is remarkable. In 2017, she felt a pull to leave Minnesota—her lifelong home—and move to Maui, sight unseen. She sold nearly everything she owned and leaned into her intuition, trusting that her spiritual guidance would steer her in the right direction. Her leap of faith resonated deeply with me. In business and life, we’re often hesitant to follow our instincts, waiting instead for logic to catch up. Kim’s experience is a powerful reminder that when we trust the flow, the universe often aligns in our favor.
For me, trusting the flow is about taking those small but decisive steps toward what feels right, even if the entire path isn’t clear. It’s a mindset I’m incorporating not just personally but in how I guide my clients through their own business transformations.
The Energy of Our Spaces
One of the most fascinating parts of our conversation was Kim’s explanation of feng shui and how our physical spaces impact our energy and goals. She described feng shui as a way to create balance and flow, likening a well-designed space to a physical vision board that energetically supports what you want to attract into your life.
This immediately got me thinking about my workspace. As someone who loves designing sales funnels and marketing systems, I’ve always focused on digital flow. But Kim’s insights made me realize the importance of physical flow, too. Our environments can either support or hinder our creativity and productivity. I’ve already started reorganizing my office to reflect the energy I want to bring into my work: clarity, abundance, and connection.
Following Intuition in Business
Kim’s expertise goes beyond feng shui. She’s an intuitive who connects with angels and guides to help her clients navigate life and business. While some might find this concept unconventional, her practical applications make it both fascinating and accessible. She explained how anyone can tap into their intuition by clearing energy blocks, calming the mind, and simply asking for guidance.
As someone who often juggles multiple projects, I’ve found that taking time to quiet the noise—whether through meditation, journaling, or just stepping away from the screen—is essential for clarity. Kim’s encouragement to lean on spiritual guidance is something I’m exploring more intentionally. It’s not about predicting the future but about listening to those often subtle nudges that are meant to guide us in the right direction.
Applying Feng Shui to Business Goals
One of the standout moments from our conversation was Kim’s explanation of the feng shui bagua map, which ties areas of your home to different aspects of life, such as wealth, relationships, and health. She shared an example of a client who had cluttered their "wealth corner" with old files, unknowingly blocking financial growth. Once the clutter was cleared, the client saw significant shifts in their business.
This struck a chord with me because it mirrors the work I do with businesses. Just as clutter can block energy flow in a home, misaligned offers or unclear messaging can block growth in a business. Whether it’s creating a high-converting funnel or reorganizing a website, alignment is key. I’m now inspired to look at my own spaces—physical and digital—with a feng shui lens to ensure they’re aligned with my goals.
Daily Practices for Grounding and Growth
Kim’s personal practices are as inspiring as her professional insights. She starts each day with meditation, setting intentions, and affirming her commitment to following intuitive guidance. It’s a reminder that grounding ourselves is essential before we can show up fully for others.
Inspired by her, I’ve started incorporating small grounding practices into my mornings, like pausing to breathe deeply and reflect on what feels aligned for the day ahead. It’s amazing how even a few moments of mindfulness can shift your perspective and energy.
Closing Thoughts: The Power of Energy Flow
Kim’s approach to life and business is a masterclass in following the flow, both internally and externally. Whether it’s arranging furniture, clearing energetic blocks, or trusting your instincts, her insights remind us that alignment is everything. When we create spaces and practices that support our goals, we set the stage for incredible transformation.
If you’re curious about feng shui or intuitive guidance, I encourage you to explore Kim’s work. She’s a living example of what happens when you lean into trust, clear the clutter, and embrace the flow.
